About Us

The Golden Trout has recently changed ownership and management. New ownership took over in April of 2014 with new management taking over in August 2014. With this we have made some changes to the business:

  • All new staff and kitchen crew
  • Reopening of the Public Bar
  • Installing a brand new beer system
  • Moving the Reception and the Office of the motel into the main pub building
  • Rebuild of the deck overlooking the pondage
  • Brand new Bistro menu.

As part of bringing back this business to what it used to be, we are priding ourselves on providing great Bistro Meals with prompt service and providing a family friendly environment for you to come and enjoy your day or night with us. Whether that be a cold beverage during the day or a lovely Bistro Meal at night.

We hope you can help us in the journey of bringing this business back up and being one of the Hub’s of the Eildon Community again.

Friendly service offered throughout with good old country pub meals and a traditional old bar.
